  • Trauma-Informed Interventions for Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence: Understanding the multilayered impacts of intimate partner violence, we work with survivors in a trauma-sensitive manner, providing interventions that promote healing and resilience.

  • Emotional and Disordered Eating: we use trauma-informed clinical tools to help clients heal their relationship with food and their bodies. When clients struggle with eating, we assist in developing plans for specific behavioural changes, offering a list of alternatives to reaching for the fork or limiting food intake.

  • Culture, Body Image, and Eating Disorders: we recognize that clients’ negative views of their bodies are not merely subjective but are influenced by oppression and race-based trauma. we conduct culturally relevant and sensitive assessments and interventions for women struggling with eating and body image, acknowledging the unique ways disordered eating and poor body image present across different cultures.
